Welcome

The SEEFi (Spanish Society on Ultrasound for Physiotherapy) and the University of Francisco de Vitoria welcome you to the II International Symposium on Rehabilitative Ultrasound Imaging, to be held in Madrid from 3-5 June, 2016.

The organization is nowadays preparing an event in order to bring together researchers from all over the world (USA, Canada, UK, Holland, China, Australia…) and aims to carry out a review of the field. Moreover, we will take a look at the different uses of ultrasound in our profession thanks to all abstracts presented as posters or oral communications. Also, awards to the best ones will be given, in order to stimulate research.

We hope that you can enjoy the lectures and presentations during the event, as well as the workshops and intra-symposium courses that will be presented. The interest in the use of Ultrasound Imaging for Physiotherapy is so widespread that this event is one of the most attended in the world, and this makes the scientific content even more appealing.

The scientific program will explore the use of ultrasound scanner from the lumbopelvic assessment to the area of the temporomandibular joint, the neck, the pelvic floor, the proceedings guided by ultrasound scan, the latest advances in elastography, etc. We will have the pleasure to attend lectures on these topics by the main developers of these techniques.

We are very glad to celebrate this meeting in Madrid, the capital of Spain, because it has a great variety of cultural opportunities like El Prado Museum, some of the best theatres in the Country, the Escorial Palace, El Retiro park and so on.
