Grupo Geyseco will organize once again the Symposium that will take place on 26th and 27th  March, 2009 at the Fira Palace Hotel. The 2nd World Congress of Thoracic Imaging and Diagnosis in Chest Disease was presented at the XXIX Congreso de la SERAM (Sevilla, Spain 23rd-26th  May).

Jose Luis Vilar, M.D., chairman of the Organizing Committee, was awarded a gold medal for his professional career.

The  "Institut de Diagnostic per la Imatge (IDI)" - Image Diagnosis Institute -,  has entrusted to Grupo Geyseco the organization of the 2nd Debate Sessions on Image Diagnosis that will be held on November 7th 2008 at the Barcelo Sants Hotel in Barcelona, Spain.

On 10th and 12th April the city of Vigo (Spain) welcome the 8th ESGAR Hands-on Workshops on CT-Colonography (CTC). With a spectacular equipments assembly, all the participants will deal with these non–invasive technique for the colon diagnosis.

Further to the success of the “II Congress Nacional de Radiolegs de Catalunya” (Tarragona, October2007) organized by Grupo Geyseco, the Board of Directors of Catalonia Radiologists , has appointed Grupo Geyseco as Organizing Secretariat of the next Congress edition ( III Congres Nacional de Radiolegs de Catalunya) that will be held in Sitges, Spain on  2009.  + info

More than a hundred surgeons from 18 countries met in Valencia, Spain at the 1s Course on Laringo-tracheal surgery chaired by Tarrazona, M.D, head of the Toracic Surgery Unit of the Hospital Clinico Universitario in Valencia. We counted with the participation of the following keynote speakers among others: Prof. Couraud and Prof. Dartevelle (France), Prof. Mathisen (USA), Prof. Monnier (Switzerland), Prof. Forte (Brazil) and Prof. Foccoli (Italy).

On 27th and 28th  March,  300 radiodiag-nosis specialists will meet at the Mirasierra Suits Hotel, where special attention to ultrasounds will be payed. Stavros, M.D from Colorado, and Stoppen, M.D. from Mexico will be two of the guests speakers. Moreover, workshops about interventionism and skeletal muscle ecography  with ultrasounds equipements will be held

The 3rd Course: “Hispano-Frances de cirugia Hepato-Bilio-pancreatica” will be held in Valencia from 11th to 13th March.

 An innovative live video system will allow to broadcast six surgical interven-tions to the Valencia Congress Center during the Course.

On 6thand 7thMarch will take place at the Hotel Oliva Nova Golf (Oliva, Spain), the XXX edition of the “Congreso de la Sociedad Valenciana de Medicina Inten-siva Citricos & Unidades Coronarias” and the XVI Meeting of “Enfermenia Intensiva de la C. Valenciana”.

The Pre-Congress Course entitled: FDM (Fundamentals in Disaster manage-ment) will be held on 6th March.

After a very exciting month of May, where we held very important congreses as the one of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (SEHOP), Nacional Congres of Radiòlegs from Catalunya or the meeting of the Spanish Association of Human Genetics (AEHG) among others, we embarked in the month of June where we faced a full schedule of events and great experiences with our clients.

Already feeling the brease of the summer, we expect a weekly projects for specialists- Orthopedic surgeons, epidemiologists, lawyers, surgeons, nurses or Health Educators and International Cooperation is expected to attend the various projects Geyseco will organize during the month of June.
