Througout the next four years Grupo GEYSECO will develop the Strategy of the Spanish Society of Cardio Thoracic Image.

Some of the aims of this colaboration consist on a new website, new services for members, the organization of the different events and the obtainig of resources that will help to dynamize the entity.

So we would like to thank to the SEICAT new board of directors for the trust that they have relied on GEYSECO.

Throughout the month of July, the cities of Tarragona and Valencia will host a series of international events related to science and plants.

The 20th International Conference on Plant Growth Substances, the XVII Congress of the Federation of European Societies of Plant Biology and the X Meeting on Plants Molecular Biology will bring to Spain more than 3000 experts in the field. 

The Spanish society for Breast Diagnostic Imaging (SEDIM) has chosen the services of Grupo Geyseco for the creation of its Webpage, the development of its scientific body as well as the management of its congresses and continuing education over the next years.

The SEDIM, Presided by Dr. Marina Álvarez Benito from Reina Sofia Hospital, Cordoba, wants to establish itself through this bet as a modern and dynamic entity that listens to its members’ necessities. 

AThe Spanish Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (SERME) has relied on Grupo Geyseco to dynamize and develop this Scientific Institution.

In February 2011 the isle of Majorca (Spain) will host its XIII National Meeting, as well as the fourth edition of its refresher course.

Last month the Hotel Fira Palace in Barcelona hosted the 17th Edition of the International Symposium about Current Issues and Controversies in Psychiatry.

The event, which year after year is becoming a worldwide reference point for Psychiatrists, was attended by a thousand doctors and around twenty exhibitors. Hallucinations and delirium were the leading thread of the Scientific Programme.

The Spanish Society for Abdominal Imaging Diagnosis (SEDIA) has joined the Spanish scientific Associations Alliance for the fight against Colon cancer.

According to official data this pathology is the most common malignant tumor when both sexes are taken into account, with more than 400.000 people affected annually. In Spain alone, 25.000 new cases are diagnosed every year: around 30-40 every 100.000 people.

The Spanish Society of Diagnostic Imaging of the Abdomen has convened the 1st SEDIA Shorts Contest. This event aims to raise awareness about the figure of the radiologist, both in its scientific as in the human.

Group Geyseco has presented the project “Asómate al Ágora”, a pioneering set of events which the main objective is to develop technological activities at international level and also be a forum for discussion, leisure and training in the service of society and culture in Valencia.

Another step further in our international itinerary. Grupo Geyseco has been appointed as official organizer of the 4th Joint Educational Course on Thrombosis of ISTH and MLTD, to be held in Beirut on November 12th, 2010. Prestigious Italian professor Sergio Coccheri has put this event of internationally recognized scientific value in our hands.

Following GRUPO GEYSECO achievement in becoming the Secretariat of the XVII Congress of the Federation of European Societies of Plant Biology (FESPB) and the X Meeting of Molecular Plant Biology, to be held in Valencia Conference Centre, we are pleased to announce that GEYSECO will be the company in charge of the organisation of the 20th International Conference on Plant Growth Substances, that will be held in Tarragona (Spain) from June28 th to July 2nd, 2009.
