On the 21st and 22nd of January Geyseco organised the second edition of the Asetcirc Congress. According to the President of the Society, Prof. Alió, the role of our organisation “was carried out with great efficiency and to the satisfaction of those who attended. The Geyseco staff rose to the challenge and played a great role, performing very professionally, which was the result of good teamwork involving all the departments of the organisation.

 Palma de Mallorca was the setting of the 12th “Jornadas” Meeting of the Serme, organized by Geyseco. The Executive Board of the Muscle-esqueletic Spanish Society congratulated the organisers for a successful attendance. We would like to thank Dr. Silvia Martín and Dr. Carmen Martínez for their invaluable help in the organization of the meeting, and take this opportunity to show our appreciation to Dr. Joan Carles Vilanova, President of the Serme since 2007. We would also like to congratulate Dr. Xabier Tomás as Chairman of the 2012 meeting, to be held in Barcelona, as well as new President of the Serme in his new endeavour.

Asetcirc is on the verge of celebrating his Second Edition. This Association began a year and half ago and nowadays, Asetcirc and his Congress is a big reality.

From the Board of directors, as well as Companies and Institutions related to the Ophthalmology sector, coincide with the high quality and the excellence of the Scientific Program, directed to praxis, debate and, as an innovation, it will hold a talk about how residents must face the updating of their professional experience.

The Spanish Society of Implantology will celebrate his congress, held every two years, in the Valencia Conference Centre in 2012. The Organizing Committee President, the prestigious Dr. Luis Maria Ilzarbe, has left the Organization of this Congress Edition in Geyseco's hands.

Until November 2012, we have a long road ahead to execute an innovative Congress, with a Scientific Quality Program and a staging and an image that we are, frankly, convinced will be a success and it will start people talking about us.  

Geyseco, official management firm of Radiological Societies such as SEDIA, SEDIM, SRCV, SEGECA, ESRMC, SEUS, ADIRM, SERN, ERME y SEICAT, would like to show its respect and support to the 115th Anniversary of the discovery of X-rays in relation to the importance that the role of the Radiologist has for the diagnosis of diseases.

The recent Annual Scientific Meeting of the Spanish Epidemiology Society (SEE), held from 27 to 29 October in Valencia Conference Centre, has been an unprecedented success.

Besides its scientific interest focused on current issues, it is worth mentioning the remarkable attendance of over 600 professionals, and the number of accepted papers, over 700 high quality communications.

This edition has opted for technological innovation and the introduction of new communication technology; this is the first time the SEE has used digital media for its posters, as well as an abstract exposure of 3 minutes. A satisfaction survey among participants has proved it was a success.

The Valencian Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology (SVGG) has confirmed its collaboration with Grupo Geyseco in the years to come.

The SVGG is one of the most prestigious scientific institutions of the Valencian Community. Promotion of new activities and strategic development are amongst the main objectives of the association during this new phase.

The International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS) has entrusted Grupo Geyseco with the management and professionalization of this Medical Society until 2015. Amid renowned companies of international levels, for the IOIS Executive Committee not only the experience of Geyseco implementing and supervising Congresses, but also the specialization in services that Geyseco Society Department offers to its customers has been crucial.

It has been accepted about 600 communications for the 28th ISC Conference that Geyseco will held in Valencia starting from 12th September.

Dr. Jose Mir, regular collaborator of Grupo GEYSECO obtained the Jaime I Award last June for his Medical Investigation labor.

The Valencian specialist who is the head of the Hepatic Transplantation and Surgery Unit of La Fe Hospital, has done more than 1.700 hepatic transplantations since 1.991.

Grupo GEYSECO has organized among other events the Third French - Spanish Congress of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery in 2008 and is preparing the next Congress of the International Liver Transplantation which will take place in 2011 in Valencia.
